What is it about summer that makes going blonde so tempting?
Maybe its because the bright airiness of lightened locks seem to give us a lift when the mugginess and heat try to weigh us down.
Or maybe its because golden hues mirror the serotonin-producing rays of the solstice sun.
In either case, we heart blondes in the summertime months.
Check out this newly-turned blonde bombshell, c/o YGallery Salon | SoHo Co-Owner Yoni Kreger. The highlights and lowlights strategically woven into her just-below-shoulder-length mane lend depth and texture to this radiant look. Finished off with a little Grooming Creme from Bumble and bumble., and model Gabrielle Kniery captures that perfectly-not-so-perfect, lived-in texturized look with a smooth, low-glow satiny finish.
We are simply mad about this look right now. Blame it on the summertime. Or blame it on the fact that, with her dark eyebrows and mesmerizingly emerald eyes, Gabrielle, as a new blonde, reminds us a little of Daenerys Targaryen. Either way, this look is as hot as Dany's dragons.
So whether you're a current blonde needing a little depth and perk to your color, or if you, too, are drawn to the shiny, luminous, summery light look, call or come by YGallery Salon | SoHo today.

Ever since Rihanna first rocked the faux hawk last year, every single one of us, at one point, has considered it, if only for a moment. Then, when more celebs like Pink and others looked so bangin' with it, (we think we even saw one of the Obama daughters with something resembling the Rihanna faux), our fleeting considerations turned more frequent.
But let's be serious, long haired ladies: it will take more than just an adorable First Daughter to convince us to chop our long locks.
Et voilà: YGallery Salon | SoHo co-owner Yaniv Levy created the faux-tail for model Yulia G:
Perfect for summer, this fashion-forward up-do has that sleek, slicked back look that was all over the runways this season, plus the tough, edgy look of the pseudo mo'.
What do you think? Would you want to rock the faux-tail?
